Jungle Software Returns!

Jungle Software, makers of the Gorilla film production (budget and scheduling) software, is returning this year as a sponsor! The winning team will receive a copy of the state-of-the-art software which is a favorite for independent filmmakers around the world. Welcome Jungle!

New Genre Added

So as I was watching one of my most favorite tv specials of all time (yes, I'm a child of the sixties - MERRY CHRISTMAS CHARLIE BROWN), I realized, we need a HOLIDAY STORY genre! That's the beauty of running a local event. We can be flexible. So on Friday night, we'll throw an additional genre into the hat:

HOLIDAY STORY

How will you do it?

I've been talking to some of the filmmakers that will be participating this weekend, and wondering if you all will share some of your techniques for getting a film made in just 48 hours. Coordinating actors, locations, equipment, etc., is a challenge. Use the comment feature to tell us how you plan on creating a masterpiece!

Friday Night Meet at Ruta Maya

We'll be meeting on Friday the 30th at Ruta Maya Coffee (www.rutamayariverwalk.com) at 107 E. Martin St., at 6:30 - 8:00 PM, in downtown San Antonio, and we'll draw for all the film variables at that time. You may pay your entry fee by cash or check then as well.

See you soon!
